*A thought*:
G. Campbell Morgan points out that, according to Luke, Jesus did not go up the mountain to be transfigured - He went up to pray. Prayer was the goal, transfiguration the result. You just cannot predict the outcome of a time of prayer with the Lord. Who knows what will result from your own prayer today!
