*A thought*:
Jesus knew full well the temptation that would come to His disciples to think that they had been mistaken about His resurrection, so He appeared to them over a period of 40 days - thus building up the evidence and piling up the proof. How characteristic of Jesus to put the interests of others before His own. Is this one of your characteristics too?
