*A thought*:
The decisions of Ruth and Orpah present a picture of what is involved in true conversion. Orpah draws back to end her day in heathen idolatry. Ruth moves on to have her name inscribed in the divine record (See her name in the genealogy of Jesus - Matt.1:5).
How sad that some can travel with God's people, yet fail to make that "leap of faith" and
entrust all to the Saviour.
