*The first deportation*
Obedience of the Recabites - Jeremiah 35:1-11
The Jews' disobedience -Jer.35:12-19
*( _Jerusalem's 20-year siege begins 606 B.C._)*
The wine cup of wrath - Jer.25:15-38

Some Israelites deported -Dan.1:2-3
Prophecy concerning Israel's captivity - Jer.25:1-11
Prophecies to be written - Jer.36:1-8
God's promise to Baruch - Jer.45:1-5
*A thought*:
Why would God allow His people to be deported and sent into exile? There could be only one reason: if they would not heed God's tender disciplines as given through the Word of His prophets, then they must submit to His terrible disciplines as brought about through difficult circumstances. Got the point?
*Week #31 Memory Verse*:
1 Corinthians 10:11
"These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the fulfillment of the ages has come"
