*A thought*:

Just as in Israel, so in today's Church there are "good and bad figs". The "good figs" are those who learn from corrective discipline and the "bad figs" are those who continue in their willfulness. In which basket do you think God might place you?

"Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?"
